If you wanted to repair it yourself then you would need to find a piece of the wall material as a plug for the hole. Then use a strip of wood as a backer material and screw the plug into place. Then fill any gaps with the wall material (powdered) and mix with a water-based glue. Lightly sand and prime and paint. It all depends on the size of the hole, though.
